Legacy and estate planning: your first conversation

This is not a sales call. The first conversation with Aetas Wealth is free, lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, and is designed to help you understand whether a structured legacy plan can better protect your estate and support the people you care about.

Peter Rose APFS will ask about the size and structure of your estate, your existing will and LPA arrangements, any gifts you have made, and what you want to happen to your wealth. You do not need detailed figures to begin this conversation.

At the end of the call, Peter will give you an honest view of whether Aetas Wealth can help, what that would involve, and what it would cost. There is no obligation to proceed.

What we cover with legacy planning clients

The first conversation is about understanding where you are and what you are trying to achieve. We will typically explore:

  • The Finance Act 2026 pension inheritance tax changes and what they mean for your estate
  • Gifting strategies, including annual exemptions, PETs, and CLTs
  • Trust structures and how they can protect wealth while reducing an IHT liability
  • Will, LPA, and power of attorney arrangements and how they interact with your financial plan

Aetas Wealth is a trading name of Insight Financial Associates Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 458421).
